Mar Gabarre and Pau Zañartu
Up a mountain in Montseny, near Casa dels Llacs, a couple of spiritual, original, different, extraordinary musicians meet. Mar Gabarre, with her inseparable harp, and Pau Zañarte, who on this occasion delighted us with their emotional instrumental journey during the retreat Despertando en mi Tierra.
Mar is from Cádiz. Her father is a painter and her mother is a photographer and she has a degree in Fine Arts. Harpist, singer, painter, she is a multidisciplinary artist. In 2017 she made the final of Got Talent television contest and, despite not winning it, she became very well known in Spain. Mar has spent her last years preparing and promoting her solo show called Müsgo.
The duo were incredibly natural, deep, professional and spontaneous. Photographing them has been a journey through the lens, the sounds of the mountain and the forest and the irrefutable pleasure of their music.
Kamila
Kamila is a singer, pianist and composer, born in Poland but living in Barcelona since 2012. The music she composes oscillates between different genres: folk pop, neo-soul and art pop.
Currently (16.09.2019) Kamila is focusing on two musical projects. The first is AURA, the band she formed last year. AURA, in her own words, is a musical melting pot that encompasses folk pop, soul with a touch of art pop and electronica. It is characterized by its musical versatility, originality and meaningful lyrics. AURA creates a hypnotic sound, a cosmic mix that elevates the spirit, liberates, heals and entertains. After releasing a three-track demo, they are preparing to record an album.
Their second project is their YouTube channel dedicated to music, where they experiment both musically and with audio-visual production.
The session was a delight. We have known each other since university, when we read Spanish and we were classmates for two years; then I went on Erasmus to the south of Spain and when I returned Kamila left, so our paths split for a while. During this session, I saw another, more sensitive and spiritual side to Kamila. Meeting her years later, having ended up in the same city, highlighted the many things that had happened in between and how both of us had matured and travelled, even come to live in a different country. It was a gift to be able to photograph her delicacy, her art and her soul.

Alexandra and María
This photo shoot with Alexandra and Maria has been an experience for everyone. There was plenty of love, relating to each other, overcoming a challenge, seeing the other’s sensitivity…
Alexandra and Maria met each other on Borja Vilaseca’s Master’s in Personal Development and Leadership, which they completed in the summer of 2019. The experience greatly united them, each finding a sister in the other.
If there is anything which has brought us together, I would say it is a shyness yearning for openness; a fear of shining combined with enthusiasm and leadership skills; and above all, a sensitivity revealing life and beauty everywhere.
Alexandra considers herself a curious and enthusiastic person. In her own words: I find myself on the path to awakening. On this journey to open the mind, I accompany people in key moments and divulge information so that all of us who resonate with this new conscience may connect with our personal power, with our Essence.
On a professional and vocational level, she feels comfortable working with kinesiology, astrology, flower essences… and of course, as she underlines, with her own intuition. These are tools that help us understand the whys and the wherefores, the meaning of life and, at the same time, restore the natural balance of the body.
My name is Maria and I am currently working in the world of finance. A couple of years ago, I began to question the life I was leading, and I decided to approach it from another point of view, asking myself questions that did not concern me before. I was slowly awakening and opening my eyes to a new world, which had until then gone unnoticed. I continue to learn day by day and during this time, I have met wonderful people, who have brought and bring much light to my path, including Paulina!
This was a session full of light and sharing.
Alicia Mateos
Alicia and I met in Montgat, where we moved between interiors and exteriors: her clinic, the mountains, the beach. It has been a pleasure to witness her work as a Reconnective Healing therapist, and also to get to know her better on our walks around the Montgat mountains while I took the photos. Alicia came across as a kind, simple person and, as we chatted about our outlooks on life and laughed, her beautiful smile came to the fore.

The foundations of Erescambio are Alex Rosales, Carla L. Mas and Daira Ávila.
Alex, the founder, after studying engineering and then IT, went on to do an MBA followed by Borja Vilaseca’s Master’s in Personal Development. It is the latter that allowed him to combine his previous knowledge with Personal Development. That is how he started Erescambio, a platform that helps therapists to expand their work; it gives a lot of information to all of those interested in personal development and spirituality.
Carla now guides the project’s clients. Her initiative, drive and brilliance are evident from the way she looks and moves. She combines the knowledge gained from her degree in Psychology with her personal experience to help others on the path to making a living out of their vocation.
Daira, born in Guayaquil (Ecuador), studied Tourism before coming to Barcelona. Trying to find her way, she enrolled in a Master’s in Digital Marketing, where she met Alex. She then joined Erescambio, where she writes up the content and shows the world the work done behind the scenes.
